Introduction
The personal coaches used by erstwhile rulers and the Viceroys of British India would only have been a topic of conversation, it become a reality with the introduction of the Palace on Wheels.

Palace on Wheels tour is indeed one of the world’s most exciting rail journeys. The excitement of the history of the Rajput Kingdoms permeates through, clearly captured in a contemporary mode. Fully air-conditioned, the train comprises of 14 deluxe saloons. Each saloon is a combination of 4 twin-bedded chambers with proper arrangements of music, intercom and attached toilets.

Each saloon has personal attendants or Khidmatgars who are at your service, whenever you need them. The train chugs out of Delhi Cant. It is on a week-long run through Rajasthan, on every Wednesday night.

Day 01 - (Wednesday) Delhi
Tour starts in the evening with a ceremonial welcome aboard the Palace on wheels at Delhi Cant.. Train departs from Delhi at 17.45 Hrs. Dinner on board.

Day 02 - (Thursday) Jaipur
Arrive at 00.00Hrs in Jaipur the pink city. Sight seeing of Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, shopping and then lunch at Rambagh Palace, Jantar Mantar. Dinner at exotic Jai Mahal Palace with cultural program with folk music and dance. The train departs from the Jaipur at 17.30Hrs.

Day 03 - (Friday)Jaisalmer
Arrive at 06.15 hrs at Jaisalamer . Visit sand dunes and after camel safari have your dinner served under the stars , at a campsite. Departure is at 23.30Hrs.

Rajasthan Heritage Tour Day 04 - (Saturday)Jodhpur
Arrive at 08.00 hrs. Visit Mehrangarh Fort and lunch at ‘Umaid Bhawan’ Palace. Departure is at 15.30 Hrs.

Day 05 - (Sunday) Sawai Madhopur
Arrive at 04.00 hrs . In the early morning spend the day in the wilds of Ranthambore. Lunch on board. Afternoon visit to the ruins of Chittor Fort, originally built in 8th Century and abandoned in 16th Century. Departure is at 11.00Hrs.

Day 06 - (Monday) Chittorgarh & Udaipur
Arrive at 07.30Hrs, spend the day sight seeing of the city of Lakes, Palaces & gardens - Udaipur. Lunch at Lake Palace.
Departure at 20.00Hrs dinner on board.

Day 07 - (Tuesday) Bharatpur & Agra
Arrive at 06.00Hrs. Visit the renowned Keoladeo Ghana National Park a wonderlands of birds in the early morning . Home for migratory birds, specially the Siberian Crane. After visiting the Sanctuary, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a red sandstone city build by Emperor Akbar on a lavish scale. Lunch at welcome Group Mughal Sheraton. From here to Agra to visit the symbol of love Taj Mahal .
Departure at 18.00Hrs.

Day 08 - (Wednesday) Delhi
Arrive at 06.00Hrs. Breakfast on board, you descend to the humdrum existence of modern life, with only royal memories to retain for the rest of your lifetime.

Tariff is inclusive of travel/catering/conducted sightseeing/entrance fee at monuments, parks/Palaces/Cultural Programme/Camel ride/Boat ride/Rickshaw ride and for still cameras. Tariff does not include: Video Cameras, Liquor, Laundry and other items of personal nature).

THE RESERVATION/CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS ON PALACE ON WHEELS IS AS PER THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Booking:
* 20% of ticket value at the time of booking.
* 80% of the ticket value 30 day prior to the departure.

Cancellation:
* 5% of ticket value 60 days prior to the departure.
* 20% of ticket value 30-59 days prior to the departure.
* 50% of the ticket value 15-59 days prior to the departure.
* 100% of the ticket value 14days prior to the departure.
